Vultr and VAST are expanding their existing partnership to help enterprises tackle the growing infrastructure demands of AI. The partnership is part of The Vultr Cloud Alliance, which includes a network of industry tech leaders who deliver solutions and services for cloud computing.
Vultr and VAST's partnership specifically combines Vultr’s cloud compute and cloud GPU infrastructure with VAST’s AI data platform to support demanding AI workloads – from large-scale training and real-time inference to AI pipelines.
The expanded team-up is aimed at helping organizations develop infrastructure that can scale with growing models, datasets and workloads without adding unnecessary complexity, according to an announcement about the partnership. "Customers can scale each layer according to their requirements while giving AI applications the data availability, responsive access and enterprise controls needed for production environments," stated the release.
Accessing data in a timely manner is critical for agentic AI so that it can make informed decisions and take action. As such, the data layer has become key and data access control, security and accountability are essential.
