AsiaInfo Holdings has signed a contract with Zhejiang Mobile, a subsidiary of China Mobile, to upgrade its business operation support system (BOSS).
Under the contract, AsiaInfo will upgrade Zhejiang Mobile's BOSS system to comply with China Mobile's new BOSS 3.0 specifications, with an emphasis on strengthening channel management functionality and improving data consistency among the carrier's BOSS subsystems.
AsiaInfo deployed Zhejiang Mobile's existing BOSS system in 2002 to support 10 million subscribers.
