Dutch telco KPN has gone live with an OSS suite jointly provided by Celona and Logica.
The OSS uses the Celona Evolve application data migration software program, which promises zero downtime during the transition service.
Logica meanwhile helped deploy the suite, and is providing support services for KPN.
KPN manager Sicco Wiersma said the zero-downtime guarantee allowed KPN to “realize the business benefits without needing to make a large investment to consolidate two platforms.
“This allows us to transform by moving business processes and be ROI driven rather than being forced to do ‘big bang’ consolidations that are high risk for our daily business,” he said.
