mig33, a global mobile community with 40 million registered members, has recruited Chris Chandler as vice president of business development. He will be leading mig33’s expansion across mobile markets worldwide, including India, South Africa and Indonesia.
Chandler joins mig33 from Microsoft’s consumer and online division, where he led sales and marketing efforts for consumer products including Windows, Windows Phone, MSN, Windows Live, and Bing, and managed the services portfolio across Southeast Asia including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Prior to Microsoft, Chandler worked with Yahoo! as head of mobile products.
