The Irish Competition Authority has cleared BT Ireland’s sale of fixed-line customers and assets to Vodafone Ireland. Under the deal the two companies will enter a number of agreements covering the supply of wholesale services by BT Ireland to Vodafone Ireland.

A second French user has reported receiving injuries from an exploding Apple iPhone. French consumer watchdog DGCCRF said it had opened an investigation.
 
Bharti Airtel has secured a €3.49 billion credit line from a group of international and local banks to help fund its acquisition of South Africa's MTN, the FT reports.
