TeliaSonera finance head moves on

TeliaSonera's chief financial officer, Kim Ignatius, is leaving the company after eight years, an Associated Press report said. Ignatius, who also serves as an executive vice president at the Stockholm-based company, is leaving the post to become the financial chief of Finnish media group SanomaWSOY Corp. in Helsinki, Finland.

It was not immediately clear when the changes would come into effect, the report said. The Associated Press report quoted TeliaSonera's president and CEO Lars Nyberg as saying that Ignatius had 'made important contributions to TeliaSonera in a time of major changes. I highly appreciate our cooperation and therefore, I can only regret that he has now decided to leave the company.'
