There was plenty of C-suite movement in the cloud industry this week with new CEOs for Cyberpion, Earnix, Infoblox, Softchoice and Tufin. Here’s a roundup of key executive moves.
Michael Spellacy has been appointed board chairman and non-executive director at Enfusion, a cloud-native, software-as-a-service provider for investment managers. Spellacy is CEO of Atlas Crest Investment and was a senior managing director and leader of Accenture’s global capital markets practice.
Scott Harrell is the new CEO of Infoblox, a cloud-first DNS management and security company. A former 22-year Cisco veteran who led its intent-based networking unit, he will succeed Jesper Andersen, who is retiring but will continue to sit on the Infoblox board.
Suresh Thirunavukkarasu has been tapped as chief product and technology officer at Nerdio, a Microsoft Azure virtual desktop management company. Thirunavukkarasu previously was chief product officer at Yubico, which provides hardware authentication security keys.
Marc Gaffan is now CEO at Cyberpion, a cybersecurity company specializing in external attack surface management. The former CEO of endpoint security startup Hysolate, Gaffan will replace cofounder Nethanel Gelernter, who is transitioning to the chief technology officer role. Doron Gill joins as vice president of engineering from Logz.io, an observability platform provider.
Robin Gilthorpe will replace Udi Ziv as CEO of Earnix, which provides cloud-based dynamic pricing and rating solutions for insurers and banks. Gilthorpe previously was chief operating officer at Salty, an insurtech startup. Ziv will serve as an industry expert on the Earnix board.
Jorge Reis has succeeded Brad Soutiere as president of Vertek, a telecom operations and managed security services provider. Reis had served as the company’s chief strategy officer after 19 years at communications carrier Telstra, most recently as chief operating officer of Telstra Americas.
Chris Bair, formerly senior vice president of sales and leasing, has been promoted to chief commercial officer and partner at Stream Data Centers. He was vice president of sales and marketing for Iron Mountain’s data center division before joining Stream in 2019.
Raymond Brancato is the new CEO at Tufin, which focuses on network security policy management and continuous compliance automation. Formerly the company’s chief revenue officer – a role he also held at visual AI platform company AnyVision (now Oosto) – he succeeds the retiring Ruvi Kitov. Shay Dayan, who was Tufin’s vice president of research and development, is now senior vice president of products and engineering
Andrew Caprara has been named president and CEO of Softchoice in addition to his current role as chief operating officer for the software-focused IT solutions provider. He is slated to become CEO after the company’s annual general meeting in May, replacing Vince De Palma, who’s expected to transition to executive board chairman.
Mike Seymour takes the role of executive vice president of technology and digital transformation at Denali Advanced Integration, an IT solutions provider. He most recently was chief commercial officer at cybersecurity software company Onclave Network and spent seven years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
