High Point, N.C. (October 2, 2026) – Lumos, an industry-leading 100% Fiber Optic Internet provider and network infrastructure developer, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the fiber network built and operated by ALLO Fiber in Joplin, Missouri.
The acquisition by Lumos provides a foundation for rapid and widespread expansion of fiber infrastructure across the community.

Current ALLO customers will continue to receive service during the transition and do not need to take any action at this time. Lumos will contact customers directly with additional information before their service transitions to Lumos near the end of 2026.
