Nokia today announced that Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa (RNP), Brazil's national research and education network and the largest in Latin America, has selected Nokia and Q13 to modernize rede IpĂȘ. The new secure, automated and high-performance IP network will connect more than four million users and will provide the foundation for AI-enabled research, scientific discovery and digital innovation across Brazil.
The new architecture will help meet growing demand for data center connectivity, large-scale scientific collaboration, private wireless networks and AI-enabled applications. By connecting institutions, people, data and intelligence more securely and reliably, it will accelerate research in areas including health, climate science, biodiversity and engineering.
