Ryan Asdourian

Ryan Asdourian is EVP, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer for Lumen. In this role, he leads Strategy and Marketing, shaping how customers and stakeholders experience our brand and the capabilities we bring to market. He is focused on delivering long-term value to our customers, the Lumen brand, and our Marketing organization, while building an agile, customer-focused team and driving greater impact for customers and partners. 

As the chief storyteller for Lumen’s strategy, Ryan gives voice to a shared vision that unleashes the world’s digital potential and ignites business growth by connecting people, data and applications quickly, securely and effortlessly. He champions clear, customer obsessed narratives that make complex innovation understandable, practical and valuable. 

Prior to joining Lumen in 2024, Ryan spent 20 years at Microsoft, where he held product and marketing leadership roles with escalating responsibilities. His responsibilities included overseeing the company’s Security business group, with responsibility for P&L, Sales Enablement and Marketing across North and South America. Ryan also led Business Development and Marketing for the Microsoft Surface business group in the United States, and the Microsoft Windows and Devices business group in the United Kingdom. Before that, he served as Technical Advisor to CEO Satya Nadella. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and is a board member of the National MS Society.
