Brigham Young University PR Intelligence Lab (BYU) is partnering with Zen Media (Zen) to provide best-in-class analytics and data-driven insights for Zen’s clients, while offering real-world experience for students in the BYU Public Relations Program. Zen and BYU have worked together on select projects since early 2022, and are now expanding the offering by formalizing their partnership.
“We are very excited to partner with the PR Intelligence Lab at BYU,” said Zen Media CEO Shama Hyder. “The BYU team provides our clients not just with high-level data but quantifiable ROI. This allows us to honestly say we are one of the most data-driven agencies in the world, and it isn’t just lip service. This relationship further exemplifies Zen’s commitment to helping our clients quantify their results for all stakeholders.”
“The passion that both BYU and Zen have for meaningful analytical insight into PR make this partnership a natural fit,” said Devin Knighton, Faculty Director, BYU PR Intelligence Lab. “We are eager for students to draw insights and create strategies from multiple communication channels. The Intelligence Lab is inspired by initiatives driven and adopted by the world’s top media companies. This collaboration with Zen gives us unlimited potential to provide our students with valuable real-world experience as they embark on their PR careers.”
With this partnership, Zen clients will now receive top-level reporting, while the students of the BYU Communications Department will obtain real-world marketing and public relations experience as part of their education. The team at BYU will provide data and analysis for each of Zen Media’s services, including earned media, social media, search, and other communication activities. Each report will be catered to the client’s specific needs and will inform their audience, messaging, and channel strategies.
