Vonage faces injunction over Verizon patents

After losing a lawsuit to Verizon Communications over several VoIP patents, Vonage is now facing a permanent injunction against its use of a handful of VoIP methods patented by Verizon, including the use of WiFi networks for Internet calling. What does this mean for Vonage's recently announced deal with EarthLink for voice over WiFi? Vonage has asked that the injunction be stayed for 120 days pending an appeal, plus it says it is developing a work-around technology.
