BT Innovate names Clive Selley as its new CEO

BT's appointment of Clive Selley as its new CEO of the Innovate and Design division, which oversees network and platform development in addition to technology strategy and research, illustrates the ongoing evolution of the service provider's management team.

Currently he's President, Portfolio and Service Design at BT Global Services and will also become BT Group CIO.

Reporting directly to BT Group's Ian Livingston, Selley replaces Al-Noor Ramji who is leaving BT at end-March. BT formed the Innovate and Design divisions in 2007 and then last year combined them to support BT's customer facing business.

Sulley's appointment is just one of many changes to take place in BT's management team. Former CTO Matt Bross decided to leave not long after BT decided to merge the Innovate and Design divisions last year.
