Limelight improves, but issues low outlook

Content delivery network provider Limelight Networks posted fourth-quarter earnings that showed improvement in revenue and new customer additions, along with a narrowing of the company's net loss to eight cents per share from 25 cents per share for the fourth quarter of 2006. The company added 450 new customers during 2007 amid increasing competition from carriers like Level 3 Communications. But it actually issued a sales outlook for the first quarter that was lower than analysts estimates--$30 million to $32 million, against analyst views of $33.2 million.
