Senate OKs extending Net tax ban

With just a handful of days until the moratorium Internet usage taxes is set to expire, the U.S. Senate followed the House of Representatives in approving an extension of the moratorium. That extension is for seven years, three years longer than some had proposed, but not as long as the permanent ban for which others had fought.

The future of the 'Net tax ban is no longer in doubt, but it will continue to be a hot topic as long as there is anything less than a permanent ban.
