SPOTLIGHT: France's broadband market excels


The broadband market in France has already gotten some notice for how quickly France Telecom and competitors such as Neuf Cegetel and Iliad are moving to new TV services. French regulator Arcep encouraged competition that has led to broadband pricing considered the lowest in Europe. Now, Arcep is trying to enforce a network-sharing policy that is aimed at spreading fiber deployment faster and farther than ever before.
