AT&T Mobility will launch its latest mobile TV-capable device, the LG Arena, next month, giving one of LG's flagship devices its U.S. debut.
LG first unveiled the Arena, which runs its S-Class user interface, at the 2009 Mobile World Congress. The device's main add-on feature is its mobile TV capabilities, which allow users to get programming from Qualcomm's Flo TV service, which costs $9.99 per month. AT&T has been pushing the service in other devices, such as the Samsung Mythic.
The device is capable of running on AT&T's faster HSPA 7.2 connection, and feature's LG's proprietary 3-D user interface. The Arena also sports a 3-inch touchscreen display, GPS and a 5-megapixel camera.
AT&T will launch the Arena online beginning Feb. 26 and in stores nationwide March 7 for $199.99 with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
