A wide range of U.S. wireless carriers announced they plan to sell Samsung's newly announced Galaxy S5 smartphone, the flagship Android device from the world's largest smartphone manufacturer. Specifically, AT&T Mobility (NYSE:T) confirmed that it will offer the Samsung Galaxy S 5, Gear 2 smart watch and Gear Fit exercise band this year, but it did not release pricing information or a launch date. In a Tweet, Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) only said the S5 is "coming soon." T-Mobile US (NYSE:TMUS) said the S5 would be available in April from both the T-Mobile brand and MetroPCS, but the carrier didn't provide pricing details. And Sprint (NYSE:S) said it would sell a version of the S5 that would work with its Sprint Spark tri-mode LTE service sometime in April, though Sprint too did not provide pricing details. U.S. Cellular (NYSE:USM) also said it would sell the S5. Click here for FierceWireles:Europe's complete coverage of Samsung's Galaxy S5 announcement.
