Cablevision Systems said it is reselling Sprint's wireless service through its online service, Optimum Store Online. The site gives customers a dedicated toll-free number to order Sprint PCS service. Cablevision customers who sign up for Sprint are also eligible for a $70 Optimum cash rebate for each line of service activated. Insiders speculate that the deal could be the beginning of an eventual MVNO partnership between Sprint and Cablevision. Sprint is currently running a trial MVNO service with Time Warner in a few select markets.
