- Cummings has not yet selected a city to host the U.S. version of the telco and AI event yet
Industry conference news alert: FutureNet World is moving south of the Thames into bigger digs next year, Giles Cummings, founder and CEO of the FutureNet World conference told me at the end of the show last week.
Cummings said that the event is moving out of the Novotel hotel in the West of London and they have booked space at the O2 Dome - one of the largest event spaces in London - for 2026. This year the London event had over 700 senior telecom executives attend.
Cummings also told me that he's looking to expand to the United States. He is currently trying to figure out which is the appropriate city — with available hotel space — to hold the event at.
The telco AI and automation-focused event is currently held in Dubai, London, and Singapore.
