Rumor Mill: FCC approves iTunes phone

Documents posted to the FCC's website indicate that the FCC has approved Motorola's iTunes phone, the E790. The information on the FCC's site indicates the the E790 can run a mobile version of Apple's iTunes software and will come with stereo speakers and Bluetooth.

Even with FCC approval, it isn't certain if Motorola will be able to get the E790 to market successfully. The company has promised to launch an iTunes handset for over a year. Motorola has delayed the launch of the device since 3GSM in February. Many insiders claim that carriers do not want to compete with Apple and are working to block the launch of the device.
