Telecom clearinghouse raises $600M in IPO

Telecom services clearinghouse NeuStar scored a successful initial public offering (IPO) of stock as its share price rose from $22 to as high as $26.50 per share. The company raised $600 million from the offering. NeuStar stores the phone numbers and area codes for service providers companies, including wireless carriers. The company also manages the .us and .biz Internet domains, as well as SMS short codes.
